Application of SMLS


SMLS, short for seamless steel pipe, is formed by billet. Our base has equipped with hot-roll production line, cold-drawn production line, automatic heat treatment line, OCTG and drill pipe processing line, with annual production capacity up to 750,000 tons.
Seamless steel pipe is widely used for many purpose.
1. Line pipe used for transmission: such as natural gas, petroleum, water and fluid transmission.
2. API 5CT Casing
3. API 5CT Tubing
4. Drill pipe: API SPEC 5DP, API SPEC 5D, API SPEC 7, most common steel grade are E75, X95, G105, S135.
5. Boiler tube: DIN17175, ASME SA-106, JIS G 3462, EN10216-1, EN10028.
6. Mechanical pipe: EN10210, EN10297, ASTM A519
7. Cylinder pipe: ASTM A519.

Cooling method for seamless steel pipe

Cooling method plays an important role during the production process of   seamless steel pipe . As some defects may happen during the cooling process if we don’t take the rightful plans for it. So we should have a clear understanding for the cooling methods before the production of steel pipe. There are three main categories for cooling method: 1. Fast cooling: this is the cooling method with the process of blowing, spraying and water. We can use fast cooling if we are in need of fast done for the product.
